ABOUT MIKE COOKSON I am a London based photography enthusiast practicing both silver-based and digital photography. Most of my work in recent years is monochrome but increasingly, whilst using digital capture, I work in colour. My principle interest is landscape photography especially in some of the remoter areas of the UK. In particular, the Western Isles and Northern Isles of Scotland provide a combination of dramatic landscapes, standing stones and other ancient sites which prove to be an irresistible draw.
